This is the latest short animation I worked on with ZZZ Collective entitled By Airmail.



By Airmail was fully animated in Flash and some additional elements in 3ds Max. Then it was all compiled in After Effects for some special visual treatment.

I'll post some behind the scenes next...

The theme for November was: FRANTIC.

Yay the entry that you can watch above has been selected as the winner for this month's Loop de Loop competition! It was FRANTIC to come up and create this piece as I left it to the last minute but it was worth it and it suited the theme! :) I'll write up some making-of next... stay tuned..

My contribution to the To This Day Project. It was a humbling experience to collaborate with so many talented animators around the world to bring this piece to life. Kudos to the team behind the project and to Shane Koyczan for his beautiful poem.
